The 3rd and 4th Workshops for Urban Resilience on the "Building Disaster and Climate Resilient Cites in ASEAN" were held on 3rd March 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand

Local government officials of each AMS in charge of disaster risk reduction and urban planning gathered in the 3rd-4th Workshop for Urban Resilience on 3 March.

Starting with opening remarks by Mr.Chainarong Vasanasomsithi, Director of Research and International Cooperation Bureau, Ministry of Interior, Thailand, JPT’s presentation about checklist and guidebook followed on it. After the explanation how to utilize them, participants tried to fill out the checklists using information/reference prepared by participants themselves and introduced their feedback.

ASEAN Urban Resilience Forum was established as a regional cross sector collaboration mechanism which enhances partnerships to increase urban resilience in ASEAN, after discussion in Concept Note 18 Project in AADMER Work Programme Phase 2
